APPEAL FOR HELP
Do you live within half and hour of BMPT? Can you help trust show people around during the summer? If so call us now!

The trust will be open for guided tours every Saturday 10AM-4PM from Easter until the end of September.

MERCHANDISING
For sale on the Open Day and throughout the year: sweatshirts, polo-shirts and caps, as well as a range of other gift items sporting the BMPT logo. For full details telephone the Trust.

RESTORATION NEWS
Motor Gunboat 81 is coming along fast. It is hoped that she will be ready for launch in August sometime. The decks are now in place and the boat has been turned upside down to enable the restoration team to make minor repairs and apply glass cloth and epoxy.

Successful negotiations have led to the provision of 3 V12 1000 hp MAN diesel engines for ’81, which should be arriving in April.

NEW BOATS
A 43’ Range Safety Launch and a 25’ Admiralty Launch are expected to join the Trust’s collection in the coming year. As already mentioned the MTB 331, which will be handed over to the Trust on 10 June.

BMPT’s growing collection is probably the largest of its type, certainly in Europe, if not the world.

PORTSMOUTH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF THE SEA
The Trust will be well represented both on the water and ashore. Come and find us at the BAe Systems stand and our collection of boats including MTB71 (60’ Vosper), MTB331 (55’ Thorneycroft coastal motor boat), HSl102 (64’ AirSea Rescue Launch) and RAF206 (37’.6’’ Sea Plane Tender)

BOATS AVAILABLE FOR HIRE
Both high speed Launch 102 and Seaplane Tender 206 will be back on the water shortly helping to raise funds for the Trust.

Why not take a trip on one of these restored craft, either to view the cruise liner in the docks or speed back in time to Calshot and the Hamble River? Whether it’s a trip down memory lane with friends and family or a blast around the Solent, your needs can be catered for in a tailor made package. Prices start from £10 per person. You can enjoy yourself and raise money for the Trust. Please telephone 023 8042 8443 to make a booking or find out further details.
