NFDOG READY FOR NEW CHALLENGES |
|
Chairman Pauline Ludlow set out plans at NFDOG’s 2007 annual meeting for facing future challenges. She told members at the meeting in Brockenhurst that she had enlarged the committee to tackle the many problems that dog walkers’ face. “I started this group thinking it would be a temporary thing,” she said. “However, I realise now that it is unlikely to be wound up in the foreseeable future.” Noting the group’s finances were in a very healthy condition, she said it meant that NFDOG had a comfortable cushion in case it ever needed to employ a lawyer. Treasurer Ron Pearson told the meeting annual subscriptions of £6570 had been boosted by further donations of £1472. NFDOG had more than £20,000 in the bank at the end of the year. Barton on Sea member Patrick Croker thanked the chairman for her determination and enthusiasm, and said that all members owed her an enormous debt. |
