Moors Valley is situated ten miles north of Bournemouth at Ashley Heath. Entrance to the Park is free, but there are charges for the special attractions as well as parking. The Park boasts a range of beautiful walks and trails for you to explore at your leisure, including play trails, a treetops walk and lookout. Facilities at the Park include a tearoom; country shop; adventure play areas for the children; and a visitor centre where you can pick up a map. Additional attractions include:

  • The steam railway. Ride for a mile on an authentic miniature steam locomotive;
  • Cycle hire centre. All sizes of bicycle are for hire, along with child seats, trailers and helmets;
  • Golf. There are 18, 11 and 7-hole golf course options as well as the 4-hole pitch and putt course. There is also a fully equipped golf shop, club hire and tuition available.
  • Go Ape! A network of rope bridges, trapezes, and death slides, that stretches for roughly a mile through the tree canopy (min age 10yrs).

Please note that dogs are welcome in the Park but should be kept under close control at all times and on leads where signs indicate. Dog bins are located in the forest, and owners should use them to clear up after their dogs. There are no litter bins at Moors Valley, so please come prepared to take your litter home with you!

The Park is open everyday except Christmas day. For further information telephone 01425 470721 or email: moorsvalley@eastdorset.gov.uk
