Furzey Gardens is an informal woodland garden nestled in a tranquil New Forest setting, full of dozens of fairy doors to enchant visitors of all ages.
The garden is well known for its riotous spring colour and stunning autumn leaves, as well as its charming thatched tea rooms serving drinks, cakes and light snacks.
10 acre woodland gardens
The peaceful 10 acre woodland gardens includes dozens of fairy doors, play area, lake with duck house, 16th century thatched cottage, recreated gold medal winning RHS Chelsea show garden, tea rooms and plant sales.
Meet with friends
The thatched tea rooms are free to enter and are the perfect place to meet with friends whatever the weather and enjoy the views from the covered terrace.
The gardens are run by local charity Minstead Trust, providing training and work experience in an inspirational setting where people with learning disabilities can learn new skills in horticulture and hospitality.
The tea rooms and toilets are open seven days a week, 10am - 4.30pm (last orders). The garden remains open until dusk. But please check the Furzey Gardens website prior to visiting.
